Series 1
The first series documents the events of the original The Animals of Farthing Wood novel, and depicts their journey to White Deer Park. On the whole, it stays very close to the book, though there are some changes, such as the gender-swaping of Owl, Adder, Kestrel and Weasel, and some events occur a little differently. There is also the addition of some scenes such as Fox's encounter with Tom the cat and the snare in the Crows' Copse. It's a fairly good adaptation of the book and the art work is beautiful.
